Privacy Policy

Good Company is built so your data stays yours. There's no account, no advertising and no analytics in the app, and we don't collect, sell or share personal information. The app doesn't send anything you write to us or to anyone else.
No dating app connections
Good Company never connects to dating apps, social networks or messaging services, and never asks for their passwords. Everything in it is what you type in yourself.
What stays on your device
Everything you add to Good Company is stored only on your iPad or Mac: profiles and photos, notes, flags, likes and dislikes, moments and their sparks and amounts, your stages, checklist and settings. We never receive a copy, and Good Company doesn't sync to iCloud.
Face ID and Touch ID
If you turn on the app lock, Good Company asks your device to confirm it's you. Apple handles this on your device; the app never sees or stores your face or fingerprint data.
Photos
When you add a profile photo, you choose it with Apple's photo picker. Good Company only receives the photo you pick, shrinks it and stores it on your device.
Notifications
Reminders, birthday notifications and the weekly summary are scheduled on your device with Apple's notification system. Nothing is sent to a server. You can turn them off in Good Company's settings or your device's settings.
Widgets
The Up Next widget shows names and short notes from your board on your Home Screen or desktop. It reads a small summary the app saves on your device. On iPad, it's hidden while the device is locked.
Backups
When you export a backup, the app creates the file on your device and you decide where it goes. We never see it. Anyone with the file can read your notes, so keep it somewhere private.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and everything Good Company stored goes with it. Since we never had a copy, there's nothing left anywhere else.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies, ads or analytics. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure.
Children
Good Company is meant for adults and doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example if iCloud sync is added, we'll update this page and the date above.
